Executive Directors
Mr. Kong Zhanpeng
Mr. Kong Zhanpeng, the chairman of the Company, is responsible for the Group's overall corporate development and management. He graduated from the China Textile University with a bachelor's degree in textile engineering and a diploma in international trade. Mr. Kong has over 12 years of experience in investments and corn refined/corn based manufacturing industry and over 6 years of experience in the corn sweetener industry. Mr. Kong was one of the founders of GBT, the parent company of GSH. Before joining the GBT Group in 1994, Mr. Kong served as a managing director of a company principally engaged in the textile manufacturing and trading industry. He joined the GBT Group in 1994 as a director of a subsidiary of GBT and was appointed as an executive director of GBT in May 2000. Mr. Kong joined the Global Sweeteners Group in November 1998 and has since then been holding directorship in certain members of the Global Sweeteners Group.

Mr. Zhang Fazheng
Mr. Zhang Fazheng, the chief executive officer of Global Sweeteners, is responsible for the management and the daily operation of the subsidiaries of the Global Sweeteners Group. He graduated from Jilin Finance and Trade College in 1992, majoring in corporate accounting. Mr. Zhang joined the Group in 1998 as the general manager of the then newly established Shanghai Hao Cheng, and became the general manager of GBT-Cargill High Fructose (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in 2001. He has over 20 years of experience in production plants management.

Mr. Xu Zhouwen
Mr. Xu Zhouwen, one of the founders of GBT, is an executive director and the co-chairman of GBT. Mr. Xu graduated from the Harbin Electric University in 1970. He is a pioneer in the corn refinery and corn-based bio-chemical industry, and has expertise in corn sweeteners industry. Mr. Xu was appointed as the executive director of Global Sweeteners on 28 October 2010.

Mr. Lee Chi Yung
Mr. Lee Chi Yung is the financial controller and company secretary of the Company. He joined the GBT Group in 2001 as the financial manager. He was then appointed as the financial controller of the Company in August 2007 and is responsible for overseeing the Group's financial reporting procedures, internal control and compliance with the listing rules and other relevant laws and regulations. He has over 8 years of experience in the related fields of finance, auditing, accounting and corporate governance practices. He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor's degree (with honors) in accountancy in 1996. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Lee was appointed as the executive director of Global Sweeteners on 8 December 2009.

Independent non-executive Directors
Mr. Chan Yuk Tong
Mr. Chan Yuk Tong is an independent non-executive Director. Mr. Chan holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Newcastle in Australia and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has more than 20 years of experience in auditing, accounting, management consultancy and financial advisory services. Mr. Chan is a practising fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of CPA Australia. Mr. Chan was appointed as an Independent non-executive Director of Global Sweeteners in June 2008.

Mr. Gao Yunchun
Mr. Gao Yunchun is an independent non-executive Director. Mr. Gao graduated from Tianjin University with a bachelor degree in chemical engineering in 1987 and has about 10 years of experience in the field of chemical engineering and corn refinery industry. Since 1989, Mr. Gao has been working for Jilin Petrochemical Design and Research Institute, and is now the vice president of the Institute. Mr. Gao has extensive knowledge and experience in corn refined / corn based manufacturing which is of relevance to the Group's business. Mr. Gao was appointed as an independent non-executive Director in August 2007.

Mr. Ho Lic Ki
Mr. Ho Lic Ki is an independent non-executive Director. Mr. Ho completed the Chinese Senior Bankers Programs from the University of Washington, Seattle, the US in cooperation with the Bank of China (Hong Kong) in 1991. After that, Mr. Ho obtained a Foundation Diploma in Management from the University of Hong Kong in 1994 and a short course from Renmin University of China in 1997. From 1965 to 2001, Mr. Ho worked at the Hong Kong branch of the Kwangtung Provincial Bank where his last designation was branch deputy general manager. Mr. Ho retired as the deputy general manager of the special assets management department of the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. He has about 40 years of experience in banking, finance and asset management. Mr. Ho was appointed as an Independent non-executive Director in August 2007.

Senior Management
Mr. Nie Zhiguo
Mr. Nie Zhiguo is the general manager of Jinzhou Dacheng. Mr. Nie obtained a master’s degree from the School of Computer Science and Engineering,in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2000. He joined GBT in 1997. He has over 12 years of experience in corn refinery and sweeteners industries. Mr. Nie joined the Group in 2001, after his appointment as the Engineer in GBT–Cargill High Fructose.

Mr. Wen Gang
Mr. Wen Gang is the general manager of Changchun Dihao and Dihao Crystall. He is responsible for the management and daily operation of the Group’s Changchun plants. Mr. Wen graduated from Liaoning University in 2000, majoring in Business Administration. He joined Changchun Dihao in August 1999. He has been serving the Group as the production manager of Changchun Dihao and the general manager of Shanghai Hao Cheng. He has over 10 years of experience in corn refinery and sweeteners industries. Mr. Wen was appointed as the general manager of Changchun Dihao and Dihao Crystal on 15 November 2010.
